You know, if this movie were called Spiders on a Plane, wild snakes couldn't drag me to it. But snakes? I'm there, especially with the baddest dude on the planet, Samuel L. Jackson.
I'm actually considering seeing a 10 PM showing of it tonight...

Kidding...
No Way.....No How....NADA!!
Call me if you decide to go, maybe I can join you (unless you want to go by yourself, or Sheryl's going with you, etc.)...or you just don't want to go with ME. 533-1300.
D
I saw the promo and the title and just laughed. My first thought, this has got to be the dumbest movie of the year.
I will be very surprised if it does well and is any good. I have absolutely no interest and I find snake interesting.
I am sure you will let me know if I am wrong about the movie. Good luck...
Tony
Tony, it's basically intended to be a B-grade movie and has just generated an amazing amount of internet buzz. (See Snakes on a Blog)
So it's really supposed to be a "so bad, it's good" movie.
If you're looking for that kind of B grade movie, with the same airplane theme, might I suggest renting Soul Plane. I saw it with BST and Paul Young (at Hollywood 27 no less), and it was definitely one of those "its so bad, its funny" movies.
I'm trying to find someone to go with Sunday night after Celebration.
What I don't understand is how you can be excited about this one, but not appreciate the glory of "The Lady and the Highwayman"?
Let's see, Tiff. Hugh Grant acting like an outlaw or Samuel L. Jackson kicking snake behind... hmmmmm.
I just can't muster any desire to see it. Even if it is awesomely bad. I think mainly I'm bitter about the ever-increasing cost of movie tickets. At least The Lady and the Highwayman is free (if you go to Tiff's house, $1 in the Wal-Mart bin).

A quiz...

CANADA (ANS) -- One of the most anticipated movies of the summer, the action/horror Snakes On A Plane, slithered its way onto the silver screen August 18. Test your knowledge of what the Bible says about several slip-sliding snakes.
