You scored as Kingdom as a Christianised Society. Christians shouldn't withdraw from the world, but by being present in it they can transform it. The kingdom is not only spiritual, but social, political, and cultural.

Interesting stuff.
What about you? How do you score? Is it what you expected? Do you think your answers have changed from what you would have answered at previous points in your spiritual journey? Why have your answered changed? Sorry for all the questions. Just curious about where people are.

I didn't take the survey (though I did scan the questions of it) because I personally feel the Kingdom of God is a blending of some of the "results" listed in this survey and some ideas that are not on this survey ;-). But I don't think its "mostly this" or "mostly that", lol.
But yes, I would DEFINATELY have answered differently in the past. In the past, I probably would have resulted in either Institutional Church or Counter-System.
I have to say I hate these type of tests. Too hard on some questions to choose.
The Kingdom as a counter-system
83%
The Kingdom is mystical communion
67%
Kingdom as a Christianised Society
67%
The Kingdom as Earthly Utopia
58%
The Kingdom as a political state
33%
Inner spiritual experience
25%
The Kingdom as Institutional Church
17%
The Kingdom is a Future Hope
17%
And yet you did it. Thanks.
My top 3:
67% The Kingdom as a counter-system
58% The Kingdom is mystical communion
50% Kingdom as a Christianised Society
I really don't care for most surveys for a myriad of reasons I won't go into. But to humor you Phil, here are my results:
Christians shouldn't withdraw from the world, but by being present in it they can transform it. The kingdom is not only spiritual, but social, political, and cultural.
Kingdom as a Christianised Society 92%
The Kingdom is mystical communion 58%
The Kingdom as Institutional Church 50%
Inner spiritual experience 50%
The Kingdom as Earthly Utopia 50%
The Kingdom as a counter-system 42%
The Kingdom is a Future Hope 25%
The Kingdom as a political state 17%
One reason I don't put any weight into the results is the math in their results does not make any sense. The sum total = 387%? There is not explanation of what the percentages in each category result mean.
Tony
The numbers aren't intended to add up to 100%. They show how the answers you gave would put you into the categories created by the quiz creator. So, Tony, your answers show that your answers put you 92% into the Kingdom as Christianized society and so on.
Yeah and I am not sure I agree that is my position. I am not even sure I know what that position means. I certainly don't like the implication of the words, "Christianised Society." Sounds very threatening to me.
The cool thing is the realization that most of us don't think of the Kingdom as being only the traditional "when we all get to heaven, what a day..."
I still challenge the logic of the percentages. I cannot be 92% in CAT 1, 58% in CAT 2, etc. It is a misuse of percentages, but most surveys do this. One of the reasons I don't like them.
