Gas
Ever notice that gas never goes down as quickly as it goes up? I'd like to see gas drop 60 cents in 8 hours every now and then.

True enough. The price of a barrel of oil has drop about 30% since July. I haven't even seen close to that drop at the pump. Of course, the SE is particularly hard hit by the refinery disruptions caused by Ike (http://www.theoildrum.com/node/4526). Demand-side economics is always more volatile.
I am a pragmatic idealist trying to figure out what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and what it means to live in the Kingdom of God.
I'm married to Sheryl and the daddy of Kinsey and Connor.

It's the rich republican's way of making us thankful when they lower the prices back to $3.50.
